The Cylindrical Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4 - LFP) range consists of 9 models in 18650 or 26650 formats. The cells have a nominal voltage of 3.2v and capacities from 1100 mAh to 4500 mAh. Suitable for applications where a longer life is required. This technology offers lower energy density than Lithium ion but is more durable.
All models have UL1642 safety approval.

IBT is able to supply Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells assembled into cell or battery packs complete with factory fitted protection circuit modules (PCM). The PCM provides protection against over voltage, under voltage and over current / short circuits with an optional ntc thermistor output. Even with this pcb fitted discharge termination and charge termination is required. The PCM will increase the dimensions of the bare cell dimensions please contact IBT for further details. Flying leads, output connectors and plastic cases can be fitted as required.
As an alternative for higher voltage / capacity solutions, IBT can provide battery packs with cells in series or parallel contained within a plastic case. Batteries can be made to a specification including battery protection circuits or even as an alternative to lead acid batteries. Please contact IBT for further details.
